  1. It’s just like switching to any new tool – or sometimes, switching to a new version of an old tool (just ask a Flash developer) – it takes a while to really get used to it. Manga Studio has a lot of great tools and such, and unlike a lot of other tools out there, it’s targeted pretty well towards comic writers (that is, writers of comics, not comedic writers).

    To use an example from my personal life, I switched to Paint.net after years of using the Gimp – but only after I made myself use Paint.net several times, just to see what it can do. The Gimp can do more, but once you’re used to it, Paint.net is much, much easier to use.
