Larry Had a Little Lamb

Here’s a little nonsense verse
Think it bad now? It’ll get worse.
From the song we all did sing
Comes this answer on angel’s wing.

Harken to the tale I tell
For it be mine to give
Sung as sweet as a bell
yet sharp enough to shiv:

Larry had a little lamb,
little lamb, little lamb,
Larry had a little lamb,
whose fleece was black as coal.

And everywhere that Larry went,
Larry went, Larry went,
and everywhere that Larry went,
the lamb just would not show.

He wanted it at show and tell
show and tell, show and tell
He wanted it at show and tell
But it refused to go

Instead it began to baa and bleat
baa and bleat, baa and bleat
Instead it start to baa and bleat
And step on Larry’s toe.

“Fine, if you won’t come with me
Come with me, come with me
Fine if you won’t come with me
then in a pie you go.”

The lamb rose up and bust his jaw
bust his jaw, bust his jaw
The lamb rose up and bust his jaw
Laid him flat with but a blow
